  1. The emotionally resonant juxtaposition employed in this lovely summer haiku effectively evokes one's childhood memories. It reminds me of another ice cream truck haiku that conveys a different feeling/mood, which is more commonly experienced in economically distressed neighborhoods:

    foreclosure notice --
    an ice cream truck
    comes and goes
