Jennifer Hambrick’s poetry has been honored with a Pushcart Prize nomination, and her chapbook, Unscathed (NightBallet Press), was nominated for the Ohioana Book Award. This minimalist Christmas haiku is tightly structured with an emotional undercurrent, and its Zen-like last line, "sound of the snow," opens up space for the reader's emotions and reflection.
